Sauraha village, Nepal

The Orphan Children & Protection Center (OCWPC) is a small orphanage center. It is a non-profit organization registered at Nepal Government's Chitwan District office in 2007.

The major objective of this center is to support the homeless orphans and disavantaged and marginalized women. They do not receive any funds or contributions from the Nepalese Government. The center depends on private donations from individuals. Presently, this center supports 7 orphan children and 2 women.

They desperately need your help. Anything can be useful: clothes, school supplies, food, etc. Small amounts of money or things that can be useless for you will mean a lot to them.

You can also support by being a volunteer. The children are wonderful and love learning English.

Lastly, come and visit and see with your own eyes the efforts Mrs. Rammaya Lama and Sushila Kandel are making to give a new home to the children and women.

Sauraha is a small village located near Chitwan National Park. Many outdoor activities are available: trekking in the jungle to see wild rhinos and crocodiles, elephant riding and bathing. You can also rent a bike and go visit the Elephant Conservation Centre. Don't miss this destination while visiting Nepal!
